More than $40K Worth of Jewelry Stolen From Newport Home

An unknown suspect stole several pieces of jewelry from a home on Ocean Boulevard in Newport Beach, police reported.

Several pieces of jewelry worth more than $40,000 were recently stolen from a Newport Beach home, police reported Tuesday.

The burglary took place sometime between March 12 and April 27 at a home in the 2600 block of Ocean Boulevard, according to Newport Beach police spokeswoman Kathy Lowe. The unknown suspect entered the home and took several pieces of jewelry valued at more than $40,000.

Lowe said there were no signs of forced entry into the house.
