Impact Giving's 5th Annual Awards Event, "Making THE Impact - Mapping YOUR Giving Over 5 Years"

Impact Giving will announce the recipients of over $130,000 in grants at their 5th Annual Awards Event, “Making THE ImpactMapping YOUR Giving Over 5 Years”, next week. This year’s nominees are made up of local and global nonprofit organizations that will be highlighted here leading up to the event on May 14th. For a full list of finalists, visit http://impactgivingnow.org/grant-finalists-2014/.

Each year local and global nonprofit organizations apply to Impact Giving’s grant process. Finalists are chosen by the Partners who sit on grant committees and the final recipients are selected by a vote of all Impact Giving Partners. By awarding grants, Impact Giving is effecting a positive, sustainable social change to the world. These high impact grants will help transform lives for the grantees. Now in it’s fifth year, Impact Giving will mark donating more than a half a million dollars to deserving organizations.

Impact Giving is a women’s collective giving organization that engages, educates and empowers women to transform lives and create positive social change in our communities, our nation and around the world. Impact Giving Partners, which are residents from all across Orange County, individually donate $1,000 annually and then collectively award the dollars to deserving nonprofit organizations.. Impact Giving considers grants in eight categories:  education; hunger and shelter; women and children; human rights; human services; health and wellness; the environment; and the arts and culture. In its first four years, Impact Giving has awarded $475,000 to 21 nonprofit organizations, locally and globally. For more information, visit www.impactgivingnow.org.
