The father of Nicole Brown Simpson, the slain ex-wife of imprisoned former football player O.J. Simpson, has died at his home in Dana Point, it was reported today.

According to media reports, Louis Brown died Thursday with his family, including his wife Juditha, at his side. He was 90.

A cause of death was not disclosed.

Brown was a former World War II aviator.

His daughter and her friend Ronald Goldman were knifed to death in 1994 and Simpson was acquitted the following year in what was dubbed the trial of the century, a televised spectacle that drew viewers worldwide.

He is now imprisoned in Nevada, serving a sentence for robbery and kidnapping.

Brown's and Goldman's families were awarded $33.5 million in damages in a civil suit when a jury found in 1997 that Simpson was liable for the deaths.

Praying has never been known to accomplish anything.

RIP Mr. Brown. You finally get to see your angel, Nicole. At 'Brainwashed_In_Church': Once again, why are all your posts so negative? Nevertheless, I'll pray for you.

Negative isn't the same thing as realistic.

Brainwashed, perhaps you're praying to the wrong God or not praying at all? Or maybe you mock what you fear (or don't understand)? Since you seem to see yourself as all-knowing (others might say a know-it-all), can you say definitively praying accomplishes nothing? Or are you just saying in your life? Most people don't pray as if it to do so is the equivalent playing the lottery (if I play enough, I will eventually win/get what I want!). Praying is a personal conversation with God, and not all prayers are answered. And no doubt you've prayed and felt your prayers went unanswered. Get in line...and realize going to God in your need or suffering is not like going to see the wizard of Oz. While I am confident none of this will change your mind, am curious what happened to you that causes you to mock/insult or verbally attack strangers who have their own beliefs that are not yours?
