Bringing Care and Security for Autistic Children

Thanks to progressive movements like Autism Speaks, the public has gained more awareness of mental illnesses affecting families, such as Autism or Down Syndrome. However, there is still much to be learned about the disease and what can be done to making living as pleasant and normal as possible for these.

Those who have not had the chance to experience caring for special needs children are not aware of how exhausting the work can be. Oftentimes, when one child has any kind of mental disability, communication with others is very difficult, making the child lash out in frustration. This leaves family member weary and at a loss of where to turn to for help.

For this reason, A-1 Home Care would like to highlight an opportunity to take a break by making use of our 24 hour caregivers. Trained in Special Needs Care, along with other facets of care like Incontinence and Diabetic Care, our caregivers can tend to their patients’ needs with precision and compassion. With two or more years of caregiving experience under their belts, our clients know that they can trust our caregivers to serve the needs in their home.
