Green Thumbs to Embark on 'Tomatomania' at Roger's Gardens

This weekend the world's largest tomato seedling sale comes to Roger's Gardens in Corona del Mar.

Tomato lovers from across Orange County will flock to Corona del Mar this weekend for the biggest tomato seedling sale in the world.

Tomatomania will take place for the first time at Roger's Gardens beginning Friday at 9 a.m. and will run through Sunday. Attendees will be able to shop from a selection of over 150 varieties of heirloom and hybrid tomatoes, meet expert growers, take part in gardening demonstrations, find fertilizers, stakes, and everything needed to have a perfect tomato season.

Tomatomania started in 1991 and is owned and produced by garden designer Scott Daigre. Over the last 21 years the event has nurtured a family of growers who come back year after year, sharing their experiences, tips and passion for tomatoes.
