Blog: An Aide to Those With No Voice

Hello Fellow Newporters,

My name is Kelly Sawyer. I am a native and loyal citizen of Newport Beach who takes pride in our pristine city, its priceless natural beauty, superior standards of leadership, and the dedication of fellow citizens to our community.  I have been caregiver to terminally ill cancer patients, defended my city against disreputable group homes as sole witness, and provider of evidence in a federal court trial against disreputable group homes.  I have defended the rights of the disabled in our city.  I come from a medical family, my father a highly respected neurosurgeon, and mother a strong compassionate psychiatric nurse.  A strong USC Trojan family, my blood runs crimson and gold. Fight On!

I inherited and have nurtured a deep passion for aiding those in need.  My main focus is saving the lives and diminishing the suffering of those who have NO VOICE. I work with rescues across the nation.  I network and aide assistance in the gathering of funds at a furious pace, in attempt to save the lives of companion animals in kill shelters, one at a time.  My family includes a puppy mill survivor and death row dog.  I foster dogs from kill shelters, rehabilitating them for their forever homes, many of them beautiful purebreds. California kills 500,000 adoptable pets yearly, 40 percent are beautiful young purebreds. Our nation kills over six million a year, simply because they have no home.

I dedicate my life to the aide of our companion animals. This includes the 1.5 million tortured and suffering Puppy Mill dogs across the nation, the parents of Pet Store Puppies. Specifically, the parents of the puppy mill dogs being sold at Russo’s and I Heart Puppies.  These stores are liars and commit consumer fraud.  I have provided Mayor and Council, on half a dozen occasions, legal evidence of this at city meetings in person and on record.  I have never protested anything my entire life until now.  I am a Republican against Puppy Mills. I am committed to preserving the status of our city as an award winner for “preservation of life”.  I will be blogging about companion animals and the violation of their federal rights by the USDA, to live life free of torture and the stores in our city who sell their cruelty under fraud. Newport Beach is a distinguished city, and WE ARE HUMANE CITIZENS WITH RESPECT FOR LIFE.
