High School Volleyball Team Raises Money for Hoag Breast Center

The Corona del Mar Girls Volleyball team hosted a match which raised a couple hundred dollars for the Hoag Breast Center.

The Corona del Mar Girls Volleyball Team hosted a special match last month to raise money for Hoag Breast Center.

At the Dig Pink match on Oct. 17, the volleyball team raised a couple hundred dollars for Hoag Breast Center to help increase awareness and donations for breast cancer.

“We do the Dig Pink event each year and it is wonderful to support Hoag and all the women who have fought or are fighting breast cancer,” Stacey Migliori, CDM Girls Volleyball Foundation secretary, said.

Hoag officials said the Hoag Hospital Foundation was honored to receive the donation from the CDM Girls Volleyball Team and will use it to support breast cancer prevention, detection and research.
