Texas Hold-em Tournament to Benefit Veterans First
This Texas Hold-em tournament will let card sharks test their skills against each other while aiding Veterans First in their 2012 fundraising drive. The proceeds from the event will go towards outreach and the establishment of Orange County's first-ever Veteran Assessment Center and Shelter (VACS).
The tournament will be held at American Legion Post #291, located at 215 15th Street in Newport Beach. A $50.00 donation is required to play with subsquent rebuys at the same donation level until 6:00p.m.
In-person registration begins at 3:00p.m., tournament starts at 4:00. Prizes will be given out to the top finishers and a raffle will be held. To register, please visit www.veteransfirstoc.org.
