Go Red for Women Luncheon

Lindora Clinic President and CEO Cynthia Stamper Graff is seeing red these days…and that’s a good thing.  The head of the nation’s leading medically supervised weight loss company has accepted the honorary chairmanship of the American Red Cross’ Go Red For Women luncheon taking place on Friday, March 11 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.  Graff understands firsthand the powerful connection between lifestyle and longevity.

"My grandmother succumbed to heart disease and other obesity-related complications, so I learned early in life that there was a direct link between habits and health," said Graff, whose father, a physician, established Lindora as a result of his mother’s condition.  “My mother recently suffered a stroke and, again, our family is facing the very real dangers associated with women and their propensity for stroke and heart disease.”

Heart disease and stroke are the No. 1 and No. 3 killers in America.  Funds raised at the Go Red For Women luncheon will help fund research that allows better understanding of these diseases, particularly among women, and how to prevent and treat them.  The luncheon is being co-chaired by Scharrell Talley Jackson, CFO and administrator for Squar Milner.
