City Collecting Christmas Donations for Military Families

Operation Christmas donations are being accepted through Dec. 23.

The city of Newport Beach is currently accepting holiday gifts to benefit the men and women serving in the Unites States military and their families.

Newport Beach partnered with Yellow Ribbon America to raise donations for the program Operation Christmas for Our Troops and Their Families to provide holiday cheer to the Orange County military community. This year the city is asking for new and unwrapped children's toys, DVDs for military members, gift cards and cash donations. Donations can be made at several city locations through Dec. 23.
