"Writing for Magazines" Course Offered in Orange County

Writing for Magazines, Class #141113 


Express yourself while making extra cash as a freelance writer for magazines and newspapers. Whatever your interests are, there is a publication to match them. And they are looking for new writers. This class will cover all you need to know to launch your writing career: how to generate ideas and approach an editor, professional article presentation, writing tips and motivation. The instructor, Dorothy Spirus, is a former magazine editor. She also teaches Creative Writing (six-week course), which starts September 15. These courses are offered through the City of Irvine Community Services Department. Registration is recommended at least two business days prior to the first class to ensure enrollment.
