The Ne'er Duwels: Traditional Irish Music in Newport Beach

New Celtic Band has OC Debut at Muldoon’s this Sunday

Be the first in the OC to see The Ne’er Duwels, a formidable quartet
of Irish musicians, who weave seamlessly back and forth between traditional
Irish melodies and urban sounds.  The
band makes their Orange County debut on Sunday, November 24 at Muldoon’s Irish
Pub in Newport Beach, at 2 PM.

Lead vocals are provided by the incomparable Ken O’Malley,
with fellow Dubliner and renowned uillean piper, Patrick D’Arcy, singing backup
and accompanying on the Irish whistles.  The “sound”
of The Ne’er Duwels is Bryan Dobbs on the mandolin, the acoustic guitar or the
very creative, innovative sounds of his Fender Stratocaster.  A percussionist with the heart of an
Irishman, Forrest Robinson drives the rhythms that combine the The Ne’er
Duwel’s unique, eclectic blend of traditional Irish music and song with a
modern, electronic edge.
