Science Nerd Series: Color Science

Amaze your rods and cones with all the wonders of the color spectrum! Come visit our resident science nerd, naturalist Meghan Lockwood, in the Environmental Nature Center’s incredible outdoor classroom. Using science, we’ll discover if all colors are really what they appear to be. Make your own invisible ink, use plants to create green art, and see what’s up with black. Bring your very own white t-shirt to decorate with permanent marker tie-dye! Get to know red-cabbage dye and its amazing color reaction to acids and bases. See art and science come together in an amazing color explosion!! For curious minds ages 7-12. Parents remain with children at all times. To register and pre-pay, visit the ENC’s Online Store, call 949-645-8489 or email lori@encenter.org. Pre-payment is required. $10 per participant.
