Maple Youth Ballet presents The Nutcracker

Maple Youth Ballet presents our enchanting and unparalleled production of "The Nutcracker."

Please note there is also a 2 p.m. matinee performance on Sunday, December 23, 2012.   

This holiday crown jewel features award-winning choreography, exquisite dancing, opulent sets and costumes, and dazzling special effects. You'll marvel at a life-size gingerbread house, Swarovski crystal curtain and a spectacular Christmas tree that grows to 55 feet before your eyes! From the moment the lights dim, you will be transported to a magical place filled with dancing snowflakes, a dashing prince, and Tchaikovsky's majestic score based on one of the world's most beloved ballets. 

Featuring original choreography by award winning Artistic Director Charles Maple, The Maple Youth Ballet's "The Nutcracker" is a traditional full-length production of E.T.A. Hoffman's time-honored classic which centers around Clara, a young girl who dreams of becoming a beautiful ballerina. 

Running time: About 2 hours with intermission; refreshments & snacks will be on sale.
