Roads Closing for CDM Scenic 5K
Thousands of participants are expected to run through Corona del Mar on Saturday morning.
Temporary road closures will be in place Saturday in Corona del Mar to make way for the annual Corona del Mar Scenic 5k.
According to the Newport Beach Police Department, the following streets south of East Coast Highway in CDM will be closed or have limited access between 6 a.m. and noon on Saturday.
• All “flower” streets between Avocado Avenue and Poppy Avenue
• First Avenue between Goldenrod Avenue and Avocado Avenue
• Bayside Drive between Marguerite Avenue and Begonia Avenue
• Seaview Avenue between Fernleaf Avenue and Poppy Avenue
• Ocean Boulevard between Fernleaf Avenue and Poppy Avenue
Parking will be available in the Corona del Mar State Beach parking lot located at Ocean Boulevard and Jasmine Avenue.
