Memorial Day Weekend at the Newport Beach Wine Festival

The 10th annual Newport Beach Wine Festival will be underway at the Balboa Bay Resort from Friday through Sunday with an array of wines, cheese and more.

Memorial Day weekend is just about here and if you are staying in town, you can enjoy the holiday at the Newport Beach Wine Festival.

Taking place at the Balboa Bay Resort, the 10th annual Newport Beach Wine Festival will feature an array of food and several wine events from Friday through Sunday. Acclaimed winemakers, award winning chefs, sommeliers and noted experts will serve as festival guides offering educational seminars and wine events with endless tasting tables, according to event organizers.  

Don't miss the Grand Tasting on Saturday night which will feature wines from over 50 vineyards and "top-notch cuisine" ranging from fine cheeses to barbeque.
  
Friday, May 24th

Five Course Master Chef Dinner and Reception -  6:30pm         

  • 5 courses dinner prepared by Executive Chef Ladeger and four guest Chef’s with a parallel pairing of old world and new world wines for each course  
Saturday May 25th Bordeaux From Around the World - 2pm        
  • Will include 12 types, 3 regions with 4 wines from each ( New / Old / Southern Hemisphere)  
Whites wines from France - 4pm        
  • 8 wines from different regions of France  
Grand Tasting - 7pm
  • Reception held in the Grand Ballroom with over 50 vineyards and top-notch cuisine ranging from fine cheeses to scrumptious barbeque                                
Sunday May 26th
Beer for Breakfast - 9am                      

  • Will included rustic breakfast faire paired with delicious beers from Europe and other renowned parts of the world  
Seafood on the Bay - 4pm                      
  • BBQ Seafood, Sushi Station, Paella Station will be accompanied by a variety of wonderful seafood pairing wines   
Cigars, Cognac, Spirits & Sweets- 6:30pm
