Newest Housing Community Opens in Newport Beach

Newport Palisades features 33 single-family detached homes, that start in the mid-to-upper $600,000s.

Saturday marked the grand opening of Newport Beach's newest housing development.

Newport Palisades features 33 single-family detached homes, that start in the mid-to-upper $600,000s.

"The Newport Palisades Collection provides new homebuyers with a great opportunity to enjoy the unique lifestyle found in Newport Beach," Ernie Gallardo, vice president of Mesa Orchard Associates, told the Daily Pilot.

There are two different floorplans to choose from in the new homes, which range from 1,695 to 1,814 square feet. Each home features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a garage, and either a veranda or loft.

Gallardo told the newspaper that Newport Palisades is the only development in the city being built at less than $2 million.

The homes will be part of the Newport-Mesa Unified School District zone. Half of the homes have already been sold or reserved.

The sales office, 1562 Orchard Drive, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
