It's going to be another day of rain and possible thunderstorms in Newport Beach, forecasters reported.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely before 11 a.m. Forecasters say highs will be in the low 70s, with a 60 percent chance of rain.
Tonight expect temperatures in the low 60s with a 20 percent chance of rain.
The stormy weather is expected to let up Saturday and Sunday, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s, the weather service reported.
