Lohan's Rehab Center Not Licensed

The Newport Beach facility had its alcohol and drug credentials revoked in 2012, according to media reports.

The Newport Beach rehab center where Lindsay Lohan enrolled under court order lost its license to provide drug or alcohol treatment last year, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times.

In March, Lohan pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and lying to police stemming from a June 8 crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica. She was ordered to spend two years on probation and 90 days in a locked rehabilitation facility.

On Thursday, she enrolled at Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach.

But Morningside may not fit court requirements.

“They do not have a license to provide alcohol or drug therapy in any of their facilities,” Millicent Tidwell, deputy director of the licensing division of the Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, told the Times.
