Anyone scheduled to catch a plane or pick up a family member or friend at John Wayne Airport can now take advantage of a new flight tracker mobile service.
John Wayne Airport launched an updated version of its mobile website and its new live flight tracker service last week, accessible via the airport's homepage or mobile site.
Airport officials say the updated website includes a more user-friendly interface, while the flight tracker allows users to look up flight status information for airlines flying to or from John Wayne Airport. Users can also reference a live map to track flight status and information on connecting flights once the flight is in the air.
Along with the new flight tracker, the mobile website includes construction and other travel alerts, a full list of JWA's nonstop destinations and a concessions tab so users can see what food choices are near their gate. Users can also look up general information including travel tips, directions and parking information.
