Bacteria levels exceeded health standards earlier this week.

Health officials have lifted a water warning issued at Corona del Mar State Beach.

The warning signs posted Wednesday by the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Ocean Water Protection Program at Corona del Mar State Beach were removed early Friday. According to health officials, the bacteria levels exceeded health standards on Wednesday from the Newport Harbor jetty to 300 feet downcoast of the jetty at Corona del Mar State Beach.
