An elderly woman with dementia who went missing from her Newport Beach home Friday morning, was found a short time later, a police official reported.
The woman, who is 93, was reported missing about 11:05 a.m. from the 200 block of East Promontory Drive, according to the Newport Beach Police Department's online call log. Jennifer Manzella, police department spokeswoman, said the woman was located and was "missing briefly."
No other information was immediately available.
