The five things you need to know for May 31.

1. The Corona del Mar Scenic 5K will take place Saturday, June 4, from 6 a.m. - noon. Casey Lesher, of HOM Real Estate Group, is the event's corporate sponsor and is encouraging everyone to pre-register for the run early this week. The scenic run will lead participants through ocean view streets. Upon completion of the run, participants will celebrate with a feast at the finish line hosted by Newport Beach's finest restaurants.
