Parents Invited to Help Select Principal

Tim Bryan's decision to leave Corona del Mar High School results in a search for the school's next principal.

Corona del Mar High School hopes to have a new principal in place when classes start in the fall. Parents and community members are invited to help determine who should get the job.

Principal Tim Bryan announced his departure from the school last week, in order to take a new position at the Oxford Preparatory Academy in Mission Viejo. The Newport-Mesa Unified School District immediately began an open recruitment process and scheduled a community meeting for Wednesday, from 6 to 7 p.m., at the CdMHS library to begin conversations about the qualities the next principal should possess.

The process will also include online input surveys and a formal interview process.

What qualities would you like to see in the next principal at Corona del Mar High School? Tell us in the comments.
