Sickly Sea Lions in Need of Community's Help

Pacific Marine Mammal Center is asking for donations to help provide medical care for more than 80 needy sea lions.

Laguna Beach's Pacific Marine Mammal Center is currently caring for more than 80 sea lions, and this week declared a “state of emergency” as it works to provide medical attention for the needy mammals.

The sickly mammals have been washing up along the Orange County coastline including Newport Beach.

Pacific Marine Mammal Center is asking for the community to donate unflavored Pedialyte or other medical supplies for the sea lions.
