A stretch of Back Bay Drive is closed this week to make way for crews to replace a drainage pipe, the city reported.
Back Bay Drive, between San Joaquin Hills Road and Eastbluff Drive, will remain closed to vehicular traffic through Friday. Bicyclists and pedestrians are allowed to use a section of the street throughout the week. City officials are asking bicyclists and pedestrians to be careful when approaching the construction area and to comply with any project safety requirements including avoiding any lane or area closed for construction.
Construction hours are scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
