The traffic signal at the intersection of Jamboree Road and MacArthur Boulevard will go dark tonight as crews work on a street improvement project, city officials reported.
Tonight from 9 p.m. to about 6 a.m. Friday, the Jamboree Road and MacArthur Boulevard intersection will have stop signs in place to control traffic. Some lanes will also be closed as crews work to relocate traffic signal poles.
City officials suggest motorists take alternate routes.
Safety tips to remember:
- Vehicles approaching a dark or flashing red light should approach the intersection with caution; use the intersection as an all-direction stop and watch for crews working in the street.
- Approach the intersection with caution and come to a complete stop.
