1. The Newport Beach Public Library has special family events planned through Saturday in honor of  National Library Week. On Tuesday, April 12, at 4 p.m., the Central Library will host the Silly Science Show, on Wednesday, April 13, at 3 p.m., the Balboa Branch Library will host Animal Tales and Musical Scales with Ken Frawley and on Thursday, April 14, at 4 p.m., the Corona del Mar Branch Library will host Wildlife America. 3. The Newport Beach City Council will meet tomorrow, April 12, at 7 p.m. at the council chambers, 3300 Newport Blvd. Read the agenda here.

4. Don't forget! Now through October, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is selling Orange County Blend Coffee and Orange County Sunshine Blend Tea, two blends exclusive to the O.C. area, at 24 locations throughout the county.
