Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Selects GTKonnect FTZ Software to Manage Foreign Trade Zone Requirements

Netwin Solutions, Inc., a premier provider of integrated global supply chain security (SCS) and trade management (GTM) solutions and the company powering the GTKonnect suite, is announcing that Hellman Worldwide Logistics, a leading logistics service provider, has selected GTKonnect FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) software.  Hellmann will utilize the software to automate and simplify complex zone-related data management, deadlines and reporting for its zones across the U.S., with multiple customers in each zone.

Hellmann will use the software to help manage the reporting requirements of The U.S. Foreign Trade Zone program, which will allow its customers the potential to defer, reduce, or even eliminate customs duties on products admitted into the zone. Hellmann will use GTKonnect’s FTZ software for end-to-end management of zone requirements at its zones across the United States. The software will help Hellmann with various tasks, such as in-bonds, receipts, admissions, approvals for activities in the zone, weekly estimates, fees and end-of-year reporting.

Founded in 1871 in Germany, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is one of the world’s leading privately owned global logistics providers, with an active network of over 19,000 employees in 443 branches in 157 countries. It currently operates two active Foreign Trade Zones in the U.S. (in Indianapolis, Indiana and Miami, Florida) and is scheduled to open three more zones (Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Newark, New Jersey, and San Diego, California). These zones will expand Hellmann’s coverage in offering additional services and opportunities for its customers.

About Hellmann Worldwide Logistics

Our company started with one man. Founded in 1871, Carl Heinrich Hellmann, used his horse-drawn cart to deliver parcels in and around the town of Osnabruck, northern Germany. Four generations later, Carl’s great-grandchildren, Jost and Klaus, own and actively manage Hellmann Worldwide Logistics with an active network of 443 offices in 157 countries. While we operate a truly global organization we remember our humble beginnings by continuing to value every customer and understand that each project requires a unique solution.
