Forge54 Seeks Applicants for 2014 Marketing Weekend

Forge 54 is looking for team members, sponsors, and a nonprofit for this year’s marketing weekend.

Orange County, CAMay 6, 2014—Sparkhouse, Devise Interactive and industry networking group Ad2OC, join forces to aid in rebranding a local non-profit for one 54-hour marathon session.

With so many great non-profits located in the heart of Southern California focusing all their time and energy into helping the community, many do not have the time or resources available to invest in their branding or marketing. Forge54 offers the opportunity for a non-profit to receive creative marketing, a brand strategy and advertising plan from a group of over 45 young professionals and students, all within an intense 54-hour period.

Nonprofits interested in being considered to receive this year’s marketing and branding donation should apply by July 21. This years Forge54 weekend will be held September 12-14 at PeopleSpace in Orange County.

At the inaugural Forge54 event last October, the OC Food Bank received over $160,000 in donated creative services. Deliverables included a new logo, slogan, branding, website, donation system, mobile app, social media makeover, PR planning, two commercials and an animated infographic.

“Forge 54 is a force to be reckoned with…this is what every nonprofit should be going through,” said Doug Vogel of the OC Food Bank.

This is more than a weekend project; Forge54 has become a model for engaging and uniting a community focused on giving back,” said Sparkhouse CEO, Torrey Tayenaka. “The more volunteers and sponsors we can get to participate, the more our creative results can positively impact the chosen nonprofit and contribute to their overall success. It’s really a win-win for everyone involved.”

Nonprofits interested in being considered for the project are encouraged to apply at www.forge54.com. Potential sponsors can access the sponsorship packet at www.Forge54.com/Sponsor. Become a team member by applying at www.forge54.com/member
