Union Bank Open for Business in CDM

The full-service branch is open six days a week.

If you're strolling down East Coast Highway today in Corona del Mar, you might notice that the ground floor of the Port Plaza building is the new home of Union Bank.

The space, at 2865 E. Coast Hwy., Suite 100, had been vacant for several years but as of last week is occupied by a full-service branch offering CDM residents and small-business owners a full menu of services.

The branch is headed by Martha Pineda, branch manager, who has more than 30 years of banking experience and is aiming to create a strong customer base and develop new relationships with consumers and business owners. Working alongside Pineda is Paulette Kolbenschlag, relationship manager, whose job is to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions for individuals, families, foundations and endowments; and priority banking relationship manager Shawn Miller, who focuses on complex banking and investment needs.

“We are excited to bring our customized banking solutions directly to our existing and new clients in the Corona del Mar community,” Henry said. “We look forward to serving our valued clients in this important market.”

Henry said Union Bank has remained a strong, well capitalized bank and trusted advisor to clients, even during the financial downturn, and as a result, are growing and continue to expand their footprint not only in Orange County, but California and the West, and even nationally.

"Corona del Mar provided an ideal location for us to provide our customized banking solutions to businesses and consumers," he said.  "The staff of our new full-service Corona del Mar branch is excited to advise new and existing clients, affluent families, individuals, and local entrepreneurs on their complex banking and investment needs."

The Union Bank Corona del Mar branch office is open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit unionbank.com or call the branch at  949-574-2762 for additional information.
