Actor Patrick Dempsey Buys Local Coffee House
The star of Grey's Anatomy purchased Tully's Coffee, which has a coffee house in Newport Beach.
He couldn’t buy love, but he managed to snag Tully’s Coffee for a mere $9.15 million.
Patrick Dempsey, the star of Can’t Buy Me Love and the steamy Dr. McDreamy of Grey’s Anatomy, announced the purchase of the Seattle Based Tully’s Coffee today with this cheeky tweet: "We met the green monster, looked her in the eye, and...SHE BLINKED! We got it! Thank you Seattle!”
As reported by the Los Angeles Times, Dempsey’s Global Baristas went up against Starbucks and other coffee giants to buy Tully’s, which has locations throughout the West Coast including Newport Beach.
