Tuesday? Go Get Some Tacos!

Taco Tuesday is one of the most social days of the week. Friends and co-workers gather to gossip about their heinous micromanaging boss and the new IT guy who is kind of cute in a nerdy way and knows how to fix your hard drive. All this gossip makes for a rumbling stomach, and tacos and killer margaritas for less than the cost of a gallon of gas are just the things to quiet the beast. Here are a list of where to go every Tuesday to get your taco on.  

- Tacos: $5 all-you-can-eat taco buffet. Also tostadas and taquitos. Drinks: $3.95 margaritas. Time: 5 p.m. until closing. Other: Newport Beach location has a DJ and space provided for dancing. 

Newport Beach Brewing Co. - Tacos: Build your own tacos—one for $2 or three for $5. Drinks: $12 house margarita pitcher. Time: 5 p.m. until closing. 

SOL Cocina - Tacos: $2 fish tacos, two for $2.50 carne asada, chicken and carnitas tacos. Drinks: $3 mexican beers, $5 margaritas, $6 skinny margaritas. Time: 4 p.m. till closing. Other: Some weeks celebrities host Taco and Tequila Tuesdays at SOL.

- Tacos: $2 to $4.50 tacos, including beer-battered mahi Baja fish taco, tri-tip steak, chicken teriyaki, mahi and lobster, shrimp, ground beef. Drinks: $14 iced-down bucket of Coronas. Time: All hours. Other: Rice and beans, 75 cents. Chicken tenders are also served. 

- Tacos: $1 to $3 large tacos filled with filet mignon steak, chicken, shrimp or fish. Drinks: $5 margaritas. Time: 5-10 p.m.

Newport Landing Restaurant - Tacos: $3 items include fish tacos, cheese nachos, two shrimp taquitos, and jalapeño poppers. Drinks: $3 draft beers, Bud and Coors Light. Time: 4-7 p.m. Other: Thursday night is Taco Night, 7-9 p.m., with $1 create-your-own tacos, chips and salsa $1. $4 Corona and Pacifico. Bucket of four beers for $12. $4 margaritas. 

Port Restaurant & Bar - Tacos: $2 tacos. Drinks: $6 margaritas, $4 Mexican beers. Time: 5-8 p.m. Other: live acoustic pop music by Shaena Stabler and Denny Rambo. 

- Tacos: $2 tacos—carne asada, street tacos, mahi-mahi, shrimp and bacon, surf and turf, tacos del patron, crispy carnitas. Drinks: $4 house margaritas, $6 Tecate and tequila shot combo. Time: 6 till close. Other: "Not Just Taco Tuesday" also features $2 bean-and-cheese burritos. 

- Tacos: $1 tacos, carnitas, chicken and vegetarian. Drinks: $1.50 domestic and Tecate beers, $3.50 house margaritas. Time: 2-6 p.m.

- Tacos: $1.50 tacos, including chicken, steak, carnitas, ahi, shredded beef, and al pastor, chips and salsa included. Time: All hours.  

- Tacos: $5 all-you-can-eat taco platter includes rice and beans with purchase of one beverage Drinks: two-for-one margaritas and all other drinks. Time: All hours. Happy hour drinks, 4-8 p.m. 

- Tacos: $1.25 tacos. Drinks: $1 draft beers, Bud Light and Budweiser. Time: 7 a.m. to midnight. Other: It also has Taco Thursdays, same deal. 

- Tacos: $1.60 soft tacos (chicken, carnitas, or steak) made to order with choice of salsas. Drinks: $5 Cadillac margaritas, $5 Rain's Organic martini, $5 Jack Daniel's Manhattan, or other premium well drinks. Time: 5-10 p.m. Other: Cantina small bites include BBQ short rib or mesquite-grilled steak sliders and tequila-cured organic salmon cones, all starting at $5.

- Tacos: $2 gourmet tacos. Time: 5 p.m.-close. Other: A reverse happy hour serves discounted cocktails from 8 p.m. until close.
