The Spa at Pelican Hill Earns Another Prestigious Accolade

The Spa at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach has earned recently receiving one of the highest global travel ratings.

The resort earned five stars in the 54th annual listing of Five-Star and Four-Star hospitality establishments worldwide by Forbes Travel Guide. The 3-year-old resort is one of only 20 spas across the country—and less than 30 worldwide—to earn the top Forbes Star Award this year.

Kate Starr, resort spokeswoman, said since it opened in November 2008, Pelican Hill Resort has earned numerous awards, including honors from Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report, Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Wine Spectator, Golf Digest and more.

Forbes Travel Guide has been compiling ratings and reviews of hotels, restaurants and spas since 1958 as a way to help travelers plan their trips.
