Roger's Gardens Named Among Best in America

Today's Garden Center magazine selects Roger's Gardens in Corona del Mar as one of its Revolutionary 100 Garden Centers for 2014.

Roger's Gardens in Corona del Mar has been ranked among Today's Garden Center magazine's best garden centers in America, officials announced.

The award is part of the magazine's annual Revolutionary 100 Awards Garden Center Program, which surveys garden center owners and managers in a variety of areas and results in a listing of the 100 most revolutionary garden centers in the nation.The 2014 Revolutionary 100 National Winner was Roger’s Gardens in Corona del Mar, magazine officials reported.

“The garden centers that made this year’s list are an exceptional group of forward thinking independent retailers who understand that their customers constantly evolve and strive to provide what they need to succeed in the gardening lifestyle,” Carol Miller, editor of Today’s Garden Center, said in a released statement. “We are proud to call them revolutionary.”

The awards program is open to all independent garden centers, and is based on leadership and innovation, magazine officials said.

“We love our customers, we love our staff and we love what we do. Being a Revolutionary 100 winner acknowledges the incredible contributions of a large team of very talented and dedicated people at Roger’s Gardens," said Gavin Herbert, Jr., owner and president of Roger’s Gardens. "I am blessed to be able to work with these people and fortunate to be able to serve our amazing customers.”

Roger’s Gardens is a family-owned home and garden store sitting on seven acres in Corona del Mar. Products include home furnishings, décor, collectibles, holiday items and fine art from select vendors all over the world.
