Revamp Underway at CDM Starbucks

City officials say the renovation is making good progress and Starbucks should be reopened in Corona del Mar soon.

If you typically get your Iced Caramel Macchiato from the Starbucks in Corona del Mar, you'll have to get your fix at another Newport Beach location for a little longer.

CDM's Starbucks has been closed and under renovation since February as crews work to increase the size of the patio, decrease the inside seating area and add a gas fire pit outside. Tara Finnigan, city spokeswoman, says the work is coming along smoothly and Starbucks should be reopened soon.

"They have passed multiple inspections and are making good progress," Finnigan said.
