Newport Law Firm Sponsoring Thanksgiving Contest for Kids

Kids 12 and under are encouraged to participate in the "What I have to be Thankful For" Facebook contest for a chance to win a $1,000 savings bond.

A Newport Beach-based law firm is giving kids the chance to win a $1,000 U.S. Savings Bond by sharing what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving.

The "What do you have to be thankful for?" contest is being held via Facebook by the Seegmiller Law Firm. Children 12 and under are being asked to submit a one-minute video, or written essay, explaining what they have to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

“Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year where we all take a look at our lives and express gratitude for our blessings,” West Seegmiller, founder and lead partner of the Seegmiller Law Firm, said.  “Oftentimes children possess a unique perspective on things and this contest offers them a forum for expressing themselves.”
