Newport Jewelry Company Remembers Sandy Hook

Rock of Eden is selling necklaces to raise money for the Sandy Hook School Support Fund, a non-profit organization run by United Way of Western Connecticut.

In remembrance of the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary, a Newport Beach-based jewelry company is selling necklaces to honor the lives lost in the Newtown tragedy.

Rock of Eden, a jewelry company founded by moms Elizabeth Hargreaves and Paddi Sharifian, wants to make sure the 20 children and six school staff members who lost their lives in the tragedy will be always remembered and that their families will be supported.

Through its Remember Campaign, Rock of Eden is selling a remember necklace in honor of the families devastated by the Sandy Hook tragedy. The necklace is meant to be a reminder to appreciate the moments parents have with their children, and also a symbol of support for those in Newtown who are left with
only memories.

"Having young children ourselves, Paddi and I continue to reflect on
the tragic shooting of the children of Sandy Hook School in Newtown,
Connecticut," Hargreaves, co-founder of Rock of Eden, said. "As parents we assume our children will outlive us because this is the natural order of things, which Sandy Hook parents had unexpectedly taken away from them."

With every purchase of a remember necklace, Rock of Eden is donating $50 directly to The Sandy Hook School Support Fund, a non-profit organization run by United Way of Western Connecticut.  Go to rockofeden.com/the-remember-campaign.html to view the remember necklace and donate. You can also skip the necklace purchase and donate directly to the fund.
