O.C. Mom Opens Upscale Newport Baby Boutique

Orange County resident Fanak Ojani became a new mom in 2008 and saw a void in the baby product market, so she created her own store.

Ojani's Lil’ Baby Sprouts, a high end baby boutique, will celebrate its grand opening at the Newport North Shopping Center on Thursday, Feb. 28 from 3 to 7 p.m. Ojani says the idea for the boutique came to her when she noticed the need for quality baby products and resources for raising a healthy baby.

“I love being a mother and am filling a niche in Orange County for new moms " Ojani, who has a five-year-old daughter and two-year-old son, said. "Lil’ Baby Sprouts is a must-stop shop for any woman who is expecting or has a newborn.”

Ojani says Lil' Baby Sprouts carries quality apparel for newborns to toddlers,  organic blankets, toys, baby products, accessories and gifts. The boutique also has plans to launch classes in March including breastfeeding, a baby care series, sleep coaching and introduction to solid food, each taught by baby experts.

The boutique also provides shopping mommies with a Mother’s Corner, where they can breastfeed comfortably.

At the grand opening celebration, Lil' Baby Sprouts will present hourly giveaways including gift baskets of baby necessities and professional photography sessions. Shoppers will also receive 10 percent off on purchases over $25 and 15 percent off on purchases over $50.
