Japanese Apparel Retailer Opening 1st SoCal Shop at South Coast Plaza

Uniqlo is expected to open in fall, here and at the Beverly Center.

A popular Japanese retailer often compared to Gap, will open this fall its first two Southern California outlets, one in the South Coast Plaza, 

Uniqlo is known for casual clothing made of cotton and denim. It’s owned by Japanese holding company Fast Retailing Co., parent to Helmut Lang and Theory.

The second will open at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles.

“We are very excited to be opening at South Coast Plaza this fall and thrilled to introduce our brand to yet another group of future fans at this iconic retail destination ,” said Larry Meyer, CEO of Uniqlo USA, in a press release.
