Gas Prices Fall for 12th Straight Day

The average price of gas in Orange County is $3.91.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell today for the 12th consecutive day, decreasing 1 cent to $3.945.

The average price is 7.6 cents less than one week ago and 20.9 cents lower than one year ago but 10.9 cents more than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price rose 14 consecutive days before the decreases began.

The Orange County average price also decreased for the 12th consecutive day following a 14-day streak of rising prices, falling 1 cent to $3.913 -- 7.7 cents less than one week ago and 22 cents lower than one year ago but 10.7 cents more than one year ago.
