Instead of trying to repair or untangle old Christmas lights, Crown-Ace Hardware is making it easy to get rid of them.
This month Crown-Ace Hardware is encouraging residents to recycle old Christmas lights. Mark Schulein, owner of 17 Crown-Ace stores in Orange, Riverside and San Diego counties, says the recycling program is necessary because new lights are more energy efficient and safer due to the fact that many holiday fires are caused by faulty lights.
