Tommy Bahama is leading the charge on one issue everyone can agree on – the right to relax! The lifestyle brand that was founded on the principal make life one long weekend is in the midst of a campaign to make National Relaxation Day on August 15th an official U.S. holiday! In the spirit of that, all Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar& Store locations will be a relaxation destination of special menus, live music, prizes, complimentary massages and celebrations.

Guests will select delectable dishes from an exclusive barbecue menu ranging from mango barbecue glaze chicken with warm fingerling potato salad and Hawaiian barbecue beef skewers to the classic prime burger with aged cheddar cheese, Maui onion, Bibb lettuce, and heirloom tomato. To wash down all that grilled goodness, choose from a selection of specialty cocktails including the official drink of National Relaxation Day “Eight Fifteen” aptly named for the holiday itself.

Just when you think you can’t go on, experience a mini massage by a top-notch therapist to release any lingering stress.  Guests will receive a special gift with a minimum $25 purchase while supplies last. Shopping has never been so enjoyable.

This celebration will mark the culmination of a month long campaign as Tommy Bahama rallies all like-minded individuals to sign a petition at www.tommybahama.com/relax or at any of the Tommy Bahama retail stores and restaurants across the country to make National Relaxation Day an official holiday. All those who resister have a chance to win a variety of prizes including a grand prize 14-day Hawaiian cruise for two, courtesy of Princess Cruises. Winners of the “Cruise into Relaxation with Tommy Bahama” will also receive a $3,000 Tommy Bahama gift card and a $1,000 on-board credit.  Several other prizes are also being offered throughout the sweepstakes period.
