Eastbluff Medical Fundraiser to Benefit Student Athletes

The medical center in Newport Beach partners with Corona del Mar High School to raise $25,000 for the school's athletic program.

Eastbluff Medical in Newport Beach is hoping to raise $25,000 for student athletes at Corona del Mar High School by offering discounted medical visits.

Eastbluff Medical is offering free sports physicals to all Corona del Mar athletes who purchase a $25 voucher from the school's athletic department. No appointment is necessary and the visit is completed within 15 – 20 minutes. Physicals will be administered Monday-Friday, from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Our industry faces many of the same types of challenges faced by our schools. Our mission is to deliver prompt, personalized and affordable healthcare to our community," said Farzad Massoudi, CDM resident and owner of Eastbluff Medical. "We are extremely excited about this partnership and the potential it holds.”

The county's public schools have cut nearly $1 billion from budgets over the past four years, according to the county Department of Education.  All funds raised through purchase of the vouchers will go to the school's athletic department.
