Coco's to Close Doors in CDM

The longtime Corona del Mar restaurant will be a thing of the past come March.

Coco's Bakery and Restaurant on East Coast Highway in Corona del Mar has been a gathering place for many families and neighbors for decades, but the good times are coming to a quick end, according to a Daily Pilot report.

Jerry Bermudes, the restaurant's general manager, told the newspaper the restaurant is scheduled to close on March 10. Bermudes saud he did not know the reason behind the restaurant's closure, but said employees have been hearing about it "for more than a year."

Today about 30 people work at the restaurant, and many locals say they are sad to see it go.
