After finding cockroaches in the kitchen, county health officials recently closed Mariner's Coffee Shop in Newport Beach.
During a routine inspection on Sept. 10, Mariner's racked up two major health violations and 11 minor health violations.
Both young and adult cockroaches were seen "on the walls, floor, and food container in the kitchen," according to the report.
