Costa Mesa fitness expert and owner of Training Ground OC Strength and Conditioning, Ben Ballinger, is proud to announce that his team will be hosting a special two-week holiday fitness camp to help raise donations for Colette's Children's Home of Huntington Beach.
"There are many children and single mothers in our own community of Orange County who will be in need of clothing, food and other necessities this winter," Ballinger says. "Being able to provide toys, clothes, food and monetary assistance to these families in need is of primary importance to our team at Training Ground OC, so we're holding a two-week fitness program and donating all proceeds raised to Colette's Children's Home to help these disadvantaged families."
There is no set price or donation amount for admission to the program. Instead, the Training Ground OC team requests that anyone interested in participating simply donate what they can afford. Donations can be in the form canned goods, clothing or toys. Any checks should be made out to Colette's Children's Home.
The two-week program comes with 3 fitness camp workouts per week, a special nutrition coaching manual to complement the training, and a special bonus workout manual for those participants who want to add more workouts each week on their own. Fitness camp workouts will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6am and 6pm (participants can come at either time) at Training Ground OC, located in Costa Mesa at 755 W 17th St, Unit D. The workouts are open to everyone in the community and are suitable for any fitness level.
For those who are unable to attend the program but would still like to donate to Colette's Children's Home, please contact Ben Ballinger at 949-705-8663 to schedule a drop-off time or visit http://www.healinghomelessness.org/donate.html.
