Photos: Sandcastles Take Over Local Beach

The 51st annual Sandcastle Contest was held at Big Corona State Beach on Sunday.

Several teams spent Sunday at Big Corona Beach competing in the 51st annual Sandcastle Building Contest.

The teams brought buckets, shovels, sand sculpting tools and their wild imaginations hoping to turn mounds of sand into prize-winning of art.
