Holocaust Remembrance Day: The Music of Theresienstadt

The Claire Trevor School of the Arts Department of Music, the School of Humanities Department of Jewish Studies, and the OREL Foundation are partnering to bring you a Special Presentation on the Music of Theresienstadt.

To commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day, Bob Elias of the OREL Foundation* will give a lecture on the music of Theresienstadt, the Nazis' "model ghetto."  The presentation includes a musical performance featuring the Amati Quartet, an ensemble of outstanding Music Department students.

*OREL Foundation is dedicated to recovering music repressed by the Nazis.
