This Just In: We're Merging Newport Beach and Corona del Mar Patch!

Not all mergers are bad, take peanut butter and jelly or wine and cheese. Now another great merger has taken place--Corona del Mar and Newport Beach Patch have come together, joined forces and will be under one roof so to speak.

Starting Monday, we are merging Newport Beach and Corona de Mar Patch in an effort to strengthen our coverage of both communities. Based on the ways we’ve seen you, our faithful readers and advertisers, use the two sites, it was just good common sense to combine them. Now, instead of asking you to check two sites for the news and information you need from Newport Beach and Corona del Mar, you’ll have it all in one place: right here on Newport Beach Patch! So after almost two years of the sites running as two separate entities, they are now married, merged, happy as clams and will continue to bring you the best of both worlds in one spot.

Don’t worry: We'll still have the same robust coverage of everything happening in both towns. We aren’t reducing our focus on either of them! This is meant to help us provide better coverage of the things that matter to residents of both communities -- which is something we’re always striving to do!
